Apollo Pays
Big Time GamingDescription
No maximum win figure is attached to Apollo Pays, but the Big Time Gaming slot gives its multiplier no cap during Free Spins, and it sits on a 6-reel grid with 117649 ways.
How to play
The bet is set first, then the six reels spin and wins are counted across 117649 ways, so matching symbols pay on adjacent reels without fixed lines (see paylines and ways for the basics). Every win hands over a respin that can improve it. Respins keep going while two or more symbols improve the win and stop when zero or one does, after which the win is paid. The slot can be tried in demo mode and works on phones and tablets as well as desktop. With high volatility, results can swing widely between rounds.
Theme and symbols
The setting is Ancient Greece, with Mount Olympus and the god Apollo as the backdrop. Named symbols include the golden lyre and the Scatter, alongside a Wild symbol.
Features
Respins (Hold and Win): each win triggers a respin, and a respin may add an extra symbol to any reel, except reels that already hold 7 symbols. Scatters stay held in place during respins.
Golden lyre retrigger: 2 or more golden lyre symbols retrigger the base game Scatters, which award 10 Free Spins.
Unlimited Win Multiplier: in Free Spins the multiplier starts at x1 and rises by 1 with every respin triggered, with no cap.
Free Spins retrigger: 3 or more Scatters during the feature give 4 more spins, plus 2 for each Scatter beyond the third.
Win Exchange: a win of 100 times stake or more can be collected or exchanged for 10 Free Spins. Wins between 25 and 100 times stake can be exchanged for a chance at 10 Free Spins. This is not offered once Free Spins have been triggered.
More from the studio is in the Big Time Gaming catalogue, and the wider slots lobby has other options.
