Cashback and rakeback explained

Cashback and rakeback both return part of the house's take to you, but they work differently. This guide explains how each one works at JOKR Casino, how it is claimed and what changes it. Figures come from the promotions and VIP pages and are filled in live. Play is for adults only (18+), and neither feature is a way to recover losses.

Rakeback: a share of the rake

On every JOKR Original except Ballz, the game takes a small rake of 3% of each bet. Rakeback sends a share of that rake back to you, from 5% up to 15% of the rake. Your exact rate depends on two things:

• your VIP level, which rises as you wager and never goes down;
• your JOKR holder tier, based on the tokens you hold.

Temporary boosts can be added on top of the rate. Rakeback is paid on top of the game return, not instead of it. JOKR Ballz has no house edge and no rake, so it sits outside rakeback and chests.

How it is calculated and claimed

In simple terms, the rake generated by your bets is multiplied by your rakeback rate. A small bet earns a small amount, and the amount depends on how much you wager and which game you play. Games with different return profiles can count differently, as the Bonus Terms explain.

When you claim, part is paid straight to your balance and the rest is released over your calendar across the following days. Check the claim split, cooldown and monthly limits on the promotions page, because those values can be updated.

Cashback chests: lossback mechanics

Daily, weekly and monthly chests return a share of the rake for the period. The amount depends on how the period went:

• after a losing period the share is larger;
• after a winning period the share is smaller.

Chests are paid automatically at the end of each period, so there is nothing to chase. Small amounts may be paid directly, while larger ones are split between an instant part and your calendar. Bets placed while a deposit bonus is active count as usual.

VIP levels and holder tiers

The VIP Club has no application. Each level is unlocked by cumulative wagering, pays a rank-up bonus and raises your Originals rakeback permanently.

The JOKR token adds a separate ladder based on what you hold. A holder tier adds rakeback points and can multiply chest rewards, within the overall maximum. The two ladders stack, but the total stays within the cap.

What a deposit bonus pauses

While a deposit bonus is active, only the booster is suspended; rakeback keeps being credited at your normal rate and cashback chests continue as usual. The booster resumes when the bonus is completed or expires. Think about this before choosing a welcome offer, and compare it with the no-bonus option.
