Castle of Terror
Big Time GamingDescription
Players who prefer a bankroll built for long dry stretches and swingy sessions will find a fit in this Big Time Gaming slot, which carries [high volatility](/guides/volatility) on a six-reel layout.
How to play
The bet is set before the reels turn on the 6-reel grid, where wins form across 4096 ways instead of fixed lines. During base spins, Holy Water can strike random positions on the centre four reels and change character symbols into Wilds. Three or more Scatters move the round into Free Spins, while a Gold Castle Megascatter among them leads to the enhanced version. After certain wins, the Win Exchange offers a gamble shown on a wheel. Autoplay is on hand for repeated spins, and the slot opens in a free demo as well as on phones and tablets.
Theme and symbols
The setting is vampire horror inside a gothic castle. The symbols are a Silver Castle Scatter, a Gold Castle Megascatter, and four household figures: Lady, Gentleman, Maid and Gardener.
Features
Holy Water: random positions on the centre four reels may be hit, and any Lady, Gentleman, Maid or Gardener hit becomes Wild and adds 1 to the spin's win multiplier.
Free Spins: three or more Scatters award 12 spins, plus 3 extra for each Scatter beyond the third. The win multiplier starts at one and rises by one per Wild creation.
Enhanced Free Spins: these need a Megascatter among the triggering Scatters. The multiplier starts at two and rises by two per Wild creation, and 6 more spins are added each time it reaches a multiple of 20.
Win Exchange: after certain wins, the win can be gambled for a chance at 12 Free Spins, with the chance shown on a wheel.
