Ronin Stackways
HacksawDescription
A spin here drops stacked symbols onto a 100000-ways layout, and a stack that completes a win can reveal itself as 5 to 10 symbols tall. Ronin Stackways, a Hacksaw slot with low to medium volatility, tops out at 5000 times the stake.
How to play
The player sets a stake and spins. Wins are counted across 100000 ways, so matching symbols on adjacent reels pay without fixed lines. Stackways symbols can fill a reel with 2 to 10 identical symbols, and the Revealing kind only activates when a winning combination results. Three FS symbols in the base game start the Stack Spins Bonus, while four at once open Super Stack Spins. Those who prefer to skip ahead can use the Bonus Buy menu, and the Autoplay option handles repeated spins. The game can be tried in demo mode and loads on phones and tablets as well as desktop. Its low to medium volatility points to a steadier pace than high-variance titles.
Theme and symbols
The setting is feudal Japan, with samurai, ronin and a zen valley as the backdrop. The symbol set centres on Stackways, Revealing Stackways and the FS scatter that triggers the bonus rounds.
Features
Stackways: a Normal stack covers 2 to 4 positions of a reel, while the Revealing Stackways symbol covers 5 to 10.
Stack Spins Bonus: three FS symbols award 10 free spins with better odds of Stackways symbols. During the round, 2 FS add 2 spins and 3 FS add 4 spins.
Super Stack Spins: four FS symbols in one base game spin start 10 free spins in which only the Revealing Stackways symbol appears. Extra spins are earned the same way as in Stack Spins.
Bonus Buy: a menu gives direct entry to the bonus round; see how a bonus buy works.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins: for 3 times the stake, the odds of triggering one of the two bonus rounds are enhanced 5x. The top prize is 5000 times the stake, as explained in the max win guide. More Hacksaw games are in the catalogue.
