Gorilla Kingdom
NetEntDescription
Deep in a jungle ruled by gorillas, this NetEnt slot spreads symbols over 1024 ways and sits at medium volatility.
How to play
Play begins by choosing a stake and spinning the reels, which pay across 1024 ways instead of fixed lines, so matching symbols count when they land on adjacent reels. Three or more Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins round, which is where the game's special mechanics come into play. Autoplay is available for running several spins in a row without pressing the button each time. The slot loads in a mobile browser as well as on desktop, and a demo version allows a few spins with no money at stake before real play. Its medium volatility places it between low and high swing games, so results fall in a middle range for both the size and the spacing of wins.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a dense jungle, and the reels are filled with its animals. The Gorilla is the central character, with the Gorilla mask appearing during the bonus round. Supporting symbols are the Leopard, Hornbill, Okapi and Pangolin, and the Scatter triggers the bonus. Together they give the grid a wildlife look rather than a card-rank one.
Features
Free Spins: three or more Scatters anywhere on the reels award 10 to 20 free spins.
Extra Free Spins: during the bonus, three to five Scatters appearing anywhere on the reels add another 10 to 20 spins.
Symbol Transform and Totem Stone: while free spins run, Gorilla symbols can randomly turn into Gorilla masks, and each mask fills a slot on the Totem Stone. When all 6 slots of an animal panel are filled, that animal becomes the Gorilla symbol. The Totem Stone has 24 slots in total, so the longer the bonus runs, the more of the animal panels can change. The top result is a max win of 5000 times the bet. More games by this studio are in the NetEnt catalogue.
