Leprechaun Joy
NetEntDescription
A marked symbol sits above the reels, and each Leprechaun that lands pushes its multiplier up from x2 across 25 paylines in this NetEnt slot.
How to play
Choose a stake, then spin the reels, which pay along 25 fixed lines (see how paylines and ways work). Before the reels stop, a marked symbol with a multiplier is displayed above them in the main game. Every Leprechaun that lands raises that multiplier by 1, though only one Leprechaun can land on each reel. Wins made with the marked symbol are boosted by the current multiplier. Wilds fill in for paying symbols, and three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 move the round into free spins. Autoplay is among the catalogue tools for repeated spins. The slot can be tried in a free demo and works on phones and tablets as well as desktop.
Theme and symbols
The setting is Irish folklore: luck, leprechauns, rainbows and treasure. The named symbols are the Leprechaun, the Scatter and the Wild, and the Leprechaun is the one that drives the multiplier above the reels.
Features
Leprechaun and Increasing Multiplier: the marked symbol starts at x2 and gains 1 for each Leprechaun that lands, one per reel at most.
Wilds: they substitute for all paying symbols and count as the symbol forming the highest winning combination on a line. Wild payouts are not affected by the Increasing Multiplier and do not reset it.
Free Spins: three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 trigger 10 free spins, with potential re-triggers, and the multiplier boosts wins during the round.
Feature Buy: the free spins round can be bought for 40 times the selected bet. Buying resets the marked symbol and Increasing Multiplier, which are restored after leaving the round. More on this in the bonus buy guide.
A high volatility profile suits those who accept long stretches between larger hits, and the max win figure describes the upper limit. Other titles from the studio are in all NetEnt games.
