Secrets of Christmas
NetEntDescription
Its gift-picking bonus before the Free Spins and a top prize of 1400 times the bet are the main talking points.
How to play
Play starts by choosing a stake and spinning across the 25 paylines, where matching symbols on a line form wins. Wild symbols can land on any reel and stand in for every symbol except Scatters. Three or more Scatters anywhere on the screen trigger 10 Free Spins, but first a gift-selection screen appears. The game works on phones and tablets, and a demo version lets a player try the mechanics without staking anything. Autoplay is also part of the game.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a Christmas holiday, with decorations in place of the usual card symbols. The named symbols are the Wild, the Scatter, the Candle and the Bell. The Candle and Bell matter most in the bonus, where they can turn into Wilds.
Features
Wild substitution works in both the main game and the Free Spins. Landing 3 or more Scatters awards 10 free spins, and before they begin the player opens gifts from a group of 20. The number of picks equals the number of Scatters that triggered the round. Each gift reveals one of these bonus features:
- Extra spins: 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 added to the base 10.
- Multiplier boost: x1 or x2 added to the starting x1 multiplier.
- Wild Reels: reels 2 and/or 4 become fully wild for the whole feature.
- Additional Wilds: Candle and/or Bell symbols act as Wilds.
With medium to high volatility, results can swing noticeably, and the maximum win reaches 1400 times the bet. More games from the studio sit among all NetEnt games, and similar titles are in the slots lobby.
