Blood & Shadow 2

How to play

A round starts by setting the bet and spinning the grid, which pays across 3125 ways instead of fixed lines. After each win, the winning symbols are destroyed and the remaining ones tumble down so new symbols can fall in. Scatters and medium or high paying symbols that win move the Ritual Bar beneath the bottom row, and each level changes the grid. The optional xBet raises the cost of a spin in exchange for better odds of reaching bonus modes. Autoplay is available, and the game runs on mobile devices.

Theme and symbols

The setting mixes dark arts and horror inside an abandoned cathedral. The symbol set includes Wild, Scatter and Super Scatter, along with the Dagger xSplit and Guillotine xSplit symbols.

Features

The Ritual Bar advances through five levels as winning scatters and medium or high symbols land. Each level removes the lowest paying symbols and upgrades medium symbols to high paying ones.

• xSplit: Daggers split their own row, and Guillotines split every symbol below them on the reel. Both carry a x2 multiplier and become Wilds afterwards.
• Candle Spins: awarded on levels one to four of the bar, with base mechanics still active.
• Reign of Terror Spins: triggered at level five, where the meter is removed, the grid fills with high paying symbols and wilds stick at the bottom.
• Sticky Wilds: they drop to the bottom and stay until part of a win or until a new bet is made.
• Halifax Gibbet Spins: a purchasable bonus buy that moves the bar straight to level 3 and awards Candle Spins.
• xBet: an extra-cost option that improves the chance of bonus modes without changing symbol payouts.

The very high volatility means wins can be uneven, and the max win is capped at 16161x. More titles from this studio sit among the Nolimit City games.
