Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
Nolimit CityDescription
A six-reel, 1024-ways slot from Nolimit City, this title pairs very high volatility with a 9999x maximum win and a sticky-symbol respin mechanic. Its darkly humorous breakup theme is built around Rebound Spins, xSplit and a tiered bonus round.
How to play
The bet is set first, then the reels spin across six reels with 1024 ways to win, so matching symbols pay along adjacent reels rather than on fixed lines (see paylines and ways for the idea). A winning connection triggers Rebound Spins: the winning symbols lock in place, the other positions respin, and their multipliers rise with each respin. Wilds can land on any reel except the first, and special symbols such as xSplit and Plot Twist can change the grid mid-sequence. Landing Bonus symbols opens the Carpe DIEm Spins.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a toxic romance gone wrong, played for dark laughs and satire of breakups. The symbol set includes Wild, Bonus, GOD, Plot Twist, Scatter, Super Scatter and xSplit.
Features
Rebound Spins: winning symbols become sticky while non-winning positions respin, and their multipliers increase each time.
Plot Twist: upgrades all sticky symbols to random higher-paying symbols; only one can land per spin.
xSplit: landing on any reel except the first splits all symbols to its left and doubles their position multipliers.
xGod: a GOD symbol on every position across all six reels awards the maximum payout instantly and ends the round. The max win is 9999x.
Carpe DIEm Spins: three tiers. 3 Bonus symbols give 5 spins with a sticky wild on top of reel two; 4 give 7 Super spins with wilds on top and bottom of reel two; 5 give 10 Mega spins with a fully wild reel two. Bonus symbols landing during a bonus spin add more spins, much like free spins elsewhere.
Speedrun: a bonus buy that plays all Carpe Diem modes in sequence for 2,800 times the base bet.
The very high volatility means results can swing widely. More from this studio: Nolimit City games.
