Golden Shower

How to play

Set the stake and spin the six-by-five grid. Wins come from clusters of six or more identical symbols linked horizontally or vertically, so there are no paylines to count; the idea is similar to ways and paylines but based on touching groups. Each winning cluster is removed and the symbols above cascade down, and the sequence repeats while new wins appear. When a spin produces no win, the special symbols and Wilds on the reels act in a set order. Three or more Bonus symbols start the Gold Spins round. Autoplay is available for repeated spins.

Theme and symbols

The setting is a gritty motel bathroom played for satirical, humorous effect. The named symbols are Wild, Steam, Floater, Drain, Bonus and Scatter.

Features

Cluster Pays: removed clusters let symbols cascade down.

Position Multipliers: a 2x multiplier is placed on every vacated position and doubles when another winning symbol lands there, up to 999x.

Wild Generation: symbols matching a winning cluster that did not take part in the win turn into Wilds.

Wild Burst: with no win and Wilds still on the reels, a Wild destroys itself and its neighbours, adding 2x multipliers to the removed positions.

Steam: picks a symbol at random and converts every copy of it, plus itself, into a higher-paying symbol.

Floater: with no win and no Wilds, it removes all other symbols except Bonus and Drain and upgrades multipliers on the removed positions.

Drain: with no win, no Wilds and no Floater, it removes itself and all symbols except Bonus, then upgrades multipliers randomly on removed positions.

Gold Spins: 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols award 6, 8 or 10 spins, and position multipliers persist throughout. The very high volatility means results can swing widely, and the max win cap is 19999 times the bet. Similar free spins rounds are common in slots, and more can be found in the slots lobby.
