Infectious 5 xWays

Max win ×55,555Volatility Very high

Description

Very high volatility means long stretches of quiet spins broken by rare, heavy hits, so sessions swing hard and call for a modest stake. Infectious 5 xWays, a 5-reel, 4-row slot from Nolimit City, pays across 1024 ways and tops out at 55555 times the bet.

How to play

The bet is set first, then the 5 reels and 4 rows spin, with wins formed across 1024 ways when matching symbols land on adjacent reels. Wild and scatter symbols appear in the main game, and autoplay can repeat spins automatically. Any xWays symbol that lands may expand and change what a spin pays. Three or more radioactive barrel scatters open the bonus mode. The slot loads in a mobile browser as well, so a round can be played from a handset. Buyers who prefer to skip the wait can use the bonus buy option instead of waiting for scatters.

Theme and symbols

The setting is post-apocalyptic and dystopian, with villains and superhero touches. The symbol set features the characters Havoc, Mind Flayer, Torch, Misery and Toxicity, plus the xWays mystery symbol, the Wild and a radioactive barrel that acts as the scatter.

Features

xWays: a mystery symbol reveals one symbol type and expands its position to hold 2-3 symbols.

Infectious xWays: when an xWays symbol lands next to a regular Wild, all matching symbols on the reels expand to the same height.

Infectious Spins: 3 or 4 bonus scatters let the player choose between two modes, and 4 scatters add one extra spin in each. Toxic Hazard gives 9 or 10 spins with 1-5 random wilds on the middle reels every spin. Lock n' Load gives 7 or 8 spins where wilds lock in place for the rest of the feature, an extra spin is added, and wilds may carry a x2 or x3 multiplier. These bonus rounds work like other free spins features.

Mayhem Mode: 5 bonus symbols in the main game, or 5 collected during Infectious Spins, turn all premium characters into the top golden Infectious 5 symbol.

Feature Buy: buys directly into one of 3 bonus features at 75x to 555x the base bet, though it may be removed in some regulated markets. The maximum win reach comes with this very high volatility. More games sit in the Nolimit City catalogue.
