Pixies vs Pirates
Nolimit CityDescription
Very high [volatility](/guides/volatility) means long stretches of quiet spins broken by occasional large swings, and Pixies vs Pirates from Nolimit City is built around exactly that profile. This slot uses 11664 ways to win and carries a maximum win of 11907 times the stake.
How to play
The base game plays on a ways grid rather than fixed lines, so matching symbols pay when they land on adjacent reels; the idea behind this is covered in the guide to paylines and ways. During spins, mystery chests can open and stretch a reel, and tall wilds can nudge into view and carry a rising multiplier. Three or more scatters lead to the Battle Rounds bonus, where every reel is fully expanded. Before it begins, the player picks a side.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a fantasy nautical battle in which pixies face off against pirates. The named symbols are the Pixie Queen and the Pirate Captain, alongside a scatter and a wild.
Features
xWays Mystery Chest: when it lands, the chest opens to reveal a matching symbol and can hold up to four icons in one position, which expands the reel height and adds ways to win.
xNudge Wilds: tall wilds nudge until they are fully visible on the grid, and their win multiplier rises by one for every step moved.
Battle Rounds Freespins: three or more scatters trigger the bonus, with all reels fully expanded and 11664 ways to win. These free spins start with a side selection.
Side selection: the player chooses the Pixie Queen or the Pirate Captain. If the chosen side collects the most symbols, a bonus retrigger is earned.
The top outcome is explained further in the max win guide, and more titles are found among all Nolimit City games or in the slots lobby.
