Remember Gulag
Nolimit CityDescription
A spin lands stacked wilds that nudge across the middle reels, while xWays symbols on the outer reels reveal matching stacks across 720 ways. Remember Gulag, a Nolimit City slot with very high volatility, caps its maximum win at 30000 times the bet.
How to play
The bet is set first, and the grid pays across 720 ways, so matching symbols count on adjacent reels rather than along fixed lines. Players who raise the base bet by 20% with Propaganda Bet unlock the fifth reel and improve the chances of reaching the main features. During a base spin, xWays can appear on reels 1-2, and stacked wilds may land in the middle. Three or more Scatter symbols move the round into Gulag Spins. For background on how ways to win are counted, see the guide.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a dark, historical Soviet labor camp. The symbol set includes xWays, xNudge Wild, xSplit Wild, Wild, Scatter and Super Scatter, with character symbols forming the highest-paying group during the bonus.
Features
- xWays: lands on reels 1-2 in the main game and on reels 5-6 during Gulag Spins, revealing stacks of matching symbols or raising multiplier values.
- xNudge Wild: stacked Wilds land on the middle reels, nudge until fully visible and gain multiplier value with each nudge.
- xSplit Wild: divides other symbols, adding ways to win and amplifying xNudge or xWays effects.
- Propaganda Bet: a 20% higher base bet unlocks the fifth reel and boosts the odds of triggering the main features.
- Gulag Spins: triggered by three or more Scatters; a setup spin sets the number of spins and assigns win multipliers to the four highest-paying character symbols. Compare this with other free spins rounds.
- All Aboard mode: four Scatters trigger an upgraded version of Gulag Spins.
- Double Vodka mode: five Scatters trigger a mode that doubles all symbol win multipliers.
- Feature Buy: direct entry into a bonus feature, priced from 78x to 486x the base bet where regulated markets permit. The bonus buy guide explains the principle.
The very high volatility suits those who accept long quiet stretches, and the max win figure applies to a single round. More titles are in the Nolimit City collection.
