Gates of Hades
Pragmatic PlayDescription
Built for players with a tolerance for long dry spells and a bankroll that can absorb them, Gates of Hades from Pragmatic Play is a slot with very high volatility and a top win of 10000 times the bet. Tumbles, random multiplier symbols and a free spins round set in an underworld quest make up the core of the game.
How to play
The player picks a bet and starts a spin. Matching symbols can land anywhere on the screen, so wins are not tied to fixed lines; the paylines and ways guide covers how other slots handle this. After a win, the tumble feature clears the winning symbols and new ones drop in, and multiplier symbols can appear on any tumble. Landing 3 or more scatters starts the bonus round. The slot is playable on mobile, and autoplay is available for repeated spins.
Theme and symbols
The setting is an underworld quest drawn from Ancient Greece. The symbols named for the game are matching symbols that pay, multiplier symbols and scatters, with a wild symbol also part of the catalogue tags.
Features
Tumble: winning symbols make way for new ones, and multiplier symbols can hit on any tumble.
Wild multipliers: multiplier symbols worth 2x to 500x land at random in the base game and during free spins. When several land on one spin, their values are added together and applied to the total prize.
Free Spins: 3 or more scatters trigger the bonus game with 15 free spins.
Running multiplier: in free spins, values from winning multiplier symbols are added to a running total that applies to winning spins featuring multipliers.
The very high volatility means results swing widely, and the maximum win of 10000x is a cap rather than an expectation. More Pragmatic Play games sit in the slots lobby.
