Mighty Kong
Pragmatic PlayDescription
Pragmatic Play built Mighty Kong as a 50-payline slot with low volatility, a giant gorilla for a mascot and a maximum win of 955 times the bet. Its expanding middle-reel wild and a Free Spins round with a multiplier are the main features.
How to play
The bet is set before each spin, and the game is played across 50 fixed paylines, so wins are formed by matching symbols along those lines. Autoplay is available for players who prefer to let a chosen number of spins run without pressing the button each time. Because the game has low volatility, results tend to come in smaller amounts spread across many spins rather than in a few large hits. During the base game the key moment comes when a WILD lands on the middle reel, since it then grows to cover that entire reel and can complete several lines at once. The other turning point is the entry into the Free Spins round, which changes the pace of the session. After that round ends, play returns to the standard spins with the same 50 lines and the same wild behavior.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a jungle lair ruled by a giant gorilla, which gives the slot its name and its central character. The Free Spins round widens the scenery by taking the gorilla on a journey around the world, so the action leaves the jungle for a while before the base game resumes.
Features
Wild expansion: a WILD on the middle reel expands to fill the whole reel, which raises the chance of several paylines connecting on the same spin.
Free Spins: the round sends Mighty Kong around the world, and up to 40 Free Spins can be selected. Players who want to understand how such rounds are triggered and played can read about free spins in general.
Multiplier: the Free Spins round offers a multiplier of up to 8x, applied to wins collected during that round.
The highest possible result is 955 times the bet, a figure explained further in the guide to max win. More titles from the studio can be found among all Pragmatic Play games, and the wider slots lobby lists other releases.
