Pub Kings
Pragmatic PlayDescription
Pragmatic Play built Pub Kings around Norse kings and a 20-payline layout, pairing very high volatility with a maximum win of 5000x the bet. Linked symbols in the free spins round are the standout feature, and the game also loads on mobile.
How to play
A round begins with choosing the stake, after which the reels are spun and every one of the 20 paylines is checked for matching symbols. Autoplay is listed among the catalogue tags, so spins can be repeated automatically at the chosen stake. Scatters can appear on reels 1, 3 and 5, and these decide whether the scatter award or the free spins round comes into play. Because of the very high volatility, sessions can swing widely, with long quiet stretches between larger results. Anyone planning how long to play should set a budget before the first spin.
Theme and symbols
The setting is a Norse Viking world ruled by kings, and the symbol set centres on Norse kings. The mood is a hall of warriors and rulers, which fits the Viking tavern idea suggested by the title.
Features
Two features define the game.
- Scatter award: scatters land on reels 1, 3 and 5. Landing two scatters on a single spin triggers a random award of up to 5,000x.
- Free spins with linked symbols: during the free spins round, each high-paying symbol is linked to a reel. All instances of these symbols are collected after each spin, and they pay cash prizes at the end of the round.
The 5000x ceiling matches the game's max win figure. Players who like this style can find similar titles among the Pragmatic Play games or browse the full slots lobby.
