BlackJOKR: blackjack with every rule written down

BlackJOKR is the blackjack game we run on our own servers. It uses a six-deck shoe shuffled before every hand, the dealer draws to 16 and hits soft 17, blackjack pays even money, and two optional side bets, Perfect Pairs and 21+3, are settled on the first cards whatever happens in the main hand. Every rule is listed below, and the same list is shown in the ℹ️ panel inside the game.

How a hand plays

  1. Place your main bet and, if you want, a Perfect Pairs or 21+3 side bet.
  2. You receive two cards face up; the dealer receives one face up.
  3. Hit, stand, double (on a two-card 10 or 11 only) or split a pair once.
  4. The dealer draws to 16, hits soft 17 and stands on hard 17 or more.
  5. Closer to 21 without going over wins; ties push, blackjack against blackjack included.

There is no insurance and no surrender, and the dealer does not peek for blackjack: a dealer blackjack beats every hand, doubles and splits included.

Side bets

Perfect Pairs pays on your first two cards and 21+3 on your two cards plus the dealer's up-card. Both are settled before the main hand continues, at the odds listed in the rules below.

Basic strategy

Because the dealer hits soft 17, blackjack pays 1:1 and doubling is limited to 10 and 11, the best strategy for these rules differs from a standard chart. Playing away from the optimal basic strategy for these rules costs you in the long run.

Rules

  • 6 decks, shuffled before every hand.
  • The dealer draws to 16 and also draws on soft 17 (a 17 counting an ace as 11); the dealer stands on hard 17 and on 18 or more.
  • Blackjack pays 1:1 (even money).
  • Ties are a push: your stake is returned, blackjack against blackjack included.
  • You may double only on a two-card total of 10 or 11 (one card is dealt). No double after a split.
  • You may split a pair once, into 2 hands (no re-split); split aces receive one card each; 21 after a split is not a blackjack.
  • No insurance, no surrender. The dealer does not check for blackjack: a dealer blackjack beats every hand, and you lose your whole stake, doubles and splits included.
  • Side bets are settled on your first two cards (Perfect Pairs) and on those two cards plus the dealer’s face-up card (21+3), whatever happens in the main hand.
  • Perfect Pairs: Perfect pair (same rank and suit) 25:1, Colored pair (same rank and colour) 12:1, Mixed pair (same rank, different colours) 6:1 — X:1 means you win X times your side bet and your stake is returned.
  • 21+3: Suited trips 100:1, Straight flush 40:1, Three of a kind 30:1, Straight 10:1, Flush 5:1 — X:1 means you win X times your side bet and your stake is returned.

Rakeback is paid on top of the game's payouts: 5 % to 15 % of the rake (3 % of each bet) depending on your JOKR tier and VIP level, plus temporary boosts added on top of that rate (see the Promotions page); the boosts are paused while a deposit bonus is active.

Fairness and records

The shoe is shuffled with a cryptographic generator and the dealer always takes the next card of the shoe. BlackJOKR is not a commit-reveal game: there is no seed to verify, but every hand is recorded server-side and can be reviewed by support. The scheme is described on the Fairness & RNG page; all six Originals are compared on the Originals page.

Where to play

BlackJOKR runs inside the app on the web and in the Telegram Mini App with your normal balance, and contributes to bonus wagering at the table-game rate published on the Bonus Terms page. If you prefer a live dealer, the live casino has blackjack tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live; rakeback and chests are explained on the Promotions page.
