Book of Cats
BGamingDescription
Temples of Ancient Egypt and the cat goddess Bastet set the stage for this BGaming slot, which pairs very high volatility with a maximum win of 8202 times the stake. A Golden Book acts as both Scatter and Wild, and a randomly chosen expanding symbol drives the free spins.
How to play
The player picks a bet and spins across 10 paylines, a layout explained in the guide to paylines and ways. Any win in the main game can be gambled by guessing the color or suit of a face-down card, which doubles the win if the guess is right. Three or more Scatters start the free spins, and the same round can be bought directly from a button that shows its price. Autoplay is available for hands-off spinning. A free demo is there for practice, and the game loads in a mobile browser too.
Theme and symbols
The setting is Ancient Egypt, with the cat goddess Bastet as the guiding figure. The named symbol is the Golden Book, which carries a double role: it substitutes for other symbols as a Wild and triggers the bonus as a Scatter.
Features
Free spins: three or more Scatters award 10 free spins, and a further three or more Scatters during the bonus add more spins. More on how free spins work is in the guide.
Expanding symbol: one symbol is randomly selected in the 6th cell in the main game. During the free spins it expands to occupy 3 positions on the reel.
Buy Bonus: the free spins round can be purchased at the price shown on the button, a mechanic covered in the bonus buy guide.
Gamble round: after a main game win, guessing a card's color or suit doubles the winning.
Scatter and Wild: both roles belong to the Golden Book. The very high volatility means results can swing sharply, while the maximum win is capped at 8202 times the bet. Further titles are collected among all BGaming games.
