How to play

The player picks a bet and spins the reels, where wins are formed across 10 paylines. The Book acts as both Wild and Scatter, so it can complete lines and also start the bonus. Three or more Scatters award 10 free spins, and during that round one symbol expands to fill its reel. Before spinning, a player can choose the Chance x2 option or the Buy Bonus option, but the two cannot be active together. Autoplay is available, the game works on phones and tablets, and a free demo lets a player test it without staking anything.

Theme and symbols

The setting is Ancient Egypt, with a book motif at the centre of the design. The named symbols are the Book, the Scatter and the Expanding symbol that appears during the bonus round.

Features

The game's free spins are triggered by three or more Scatters and begin with 10 spins. Landing 3 or more Scatters in one spin during the round retriggers it, with no limit on the number of retriggers.

Expanding symbol: in the free spins, a random symbol other than the Scatter expands to cover its whole reel and pays on non-adjacent positions. Each retrigger adds one more expanding symbol, up to 9.

Wild/Scatter: the Book substitutes for other symbols except in the Scatter role, pays regardless of position and triggers the bonus with three or more.

Chance x2: a slightly higher bet doubles the chance of triggering free spins. It is disabled while Buy Bonus is active.

Buy Bonus: the player pays the displayed price to enter the bonus game directly with a set number of expanding symbols. The price changes with the bet, and the option is disabled while Chance x2 is on. A guide to bonus buy covers the idea in general.
